View Full Version : Do u really love your family?
deepika

mandeep is in 12th class, the pain i saw in her eyes still makes me restless.she has 3 sisters and 1 brother who is in 4th class.her mother is a housewife.her life became miserable when her father died after long suffering due to throat cancer.now mandeep and her elder sister are working to earn a living for the family, there's no source of income otherwise.to most of you people its just a story but i have seen that family suffering.can u imagine your family in such condition?its scary even to think about.in this story what went wrong?whose fault is this?its all her FATHER 's fault.surprised to read it?but its true.he din't get himself insured otherwise his family's conditon would have been better.everyday we wake up in the morning,go to work and finally in night again go to sleep.but we never think what if we won't be in this world tomorrow morning.we try to ignore this part but if something goes wrong our family will have to suffer.that time will your soul get peace?this is the incident which made me enter in to the profession of insurance because i think i am serving under GOD.the question "HOW" must be striking your mind.when u r not in the world and someone who has no blood relation with you, takes care of your family will definitely appear to be more or less like a GOD to you.now i want to put one question to you.do you love your family?have you got yourself insured?if your answer is no then do u still think you love your family.its high time when one should wake up and give your family financial protection even when u won't be physically present.and if you need any information or any question regarding insurance feel free to mail me or contact me.

Ravi,
Deepika is just trying to spread awareness regarding the benefits of health and life insurance. I dont think that shes into selling any insurance policies and any other commercial packages.

Its very nice that one new member (shiva singh) created only for reply of this article!! (He replied only one article on jatland within 3 mins after creating new profile so far).... Anyway its only speculation!

can u tell me any private company who provides Medical Insurance in India? My Parents have got Insurance from New India and we had very bad experience with them lately.

Probably Ravi wasn't that weired, the way she wrote might have made him feel so. For that matter, Deepika you are advovcating a right cause but using a wrong forum. whatever were your intentions, but you have no right to abuse a member( who is actually making a contribution to this site rather then just increasing the traffic).
I think moderator need to be a bit proactive.

well i read this article the day i was posted in jatland.i would like to reply sunil singh that the question ravi wrote is not stupid.actually the same thing i felt when i read the article but then i read the article again n then i figured out that it is all abt awareness.
BUT i can feel that deepika must have felt bad to see such a reply (in form of question) n being a young grl she replied with harsh words. i would like to suggest her that even if she is offended she MUST not use these kind of harsh words.u can reply with a sharp comment telling that ur upset as u r taken wrong .i would like to share my experience with u all .as most of the jatland members know Shri Ishwar Lamba ji.when i meet him he told me that its so nice to be on jatland bcoz all of the members give respect to their eldersn others. n its like a home .this the platform which represents the brighter side of our community .we dont know most of the members but still we follow some rules. i hope deepika u will understand wat i m trying to say n not only to deepika i want to tell every member of jatland that please feel like at home on jatland n behave like ur a dealing with own parents, brother n sister .share ur views but with politeness.plz correct me if i m wrong

Ms Singhroha is upset, presumably by simple query:
--- if this forum is to be used to sell commercial products ??.
There is nothing wrong with a forum to become a marketplace. If for this site /forum, the site owner - Nitin Dahiya decides to make it a commercial venture he will do so, the rest can then stay or leave.
If the members wish to make it a commercial forum, nothing wrong with that, that is what a marketplace is, a bazaar.
If Ms Sigroha is selling Insurance products, that is fine . It is a financial product. There is nothing wrong with selling financial products.
My query I simple- is this forum to allow commercial products ?.
If so fine, if not that is fine too.
Maybe we can have a section for commercial products, and members who wish to link up with other for commercial ventures, and support fellow Jats who embark on commercial ventures- Insurance, legal services, trade, job vacancies, products, medical !!
Why is Ms Singroha taking exception to a not entirely unreasonable question?
BTW does she sell Insurance products?

PS as for moderation, let us not be too quickto overburden them, they are a hardworked and oft over burdened people.

Ravi ji, you are right. I think Ms Deepika has over reacted over a simple quetion. It could have a simple answer as well.I think the jatland members should honour net ettiquetes. There may be difference of perception between the POSTER and the READER. Every member has a right to ask a quetion. The reply should be polite one. Deepika's intention is not to sell any product. There is some word of advice which might have been wrongly percieved.Let us forgive and forget it.

i do agreee with ravi that we should have a section in jatland where we can tell abt our services n products.if we r going to buy something then why not from our own people.atleast we should know that our people r dealing in bla bla stuff n if we wanna know abt the product or any advice or anything related to that we can ask them.
good suggestion ravi

thnk you so much for supporting me...and as far as ADVICES from ppl goes, they don't have any other work to pass their time so they simply choose to oppose others to make them feel down and to prove that they are SUPER INTELLIGENT,i am into insurance selling and if someone will ask me why would i deny? but if my intetions behind posting that topic were to sell the product i could have written to CONTACT IF SOMEONE WANTS TO GET IT DONE,but i din't write such thing.nobody thinks of the words they choose to quote but have a piece of advice to BEHAVE PROPERLY for me ........it sounds highly funny.they should first look at theirself before imposing their useless opinions on others.why mr. ravi was not selective in choosing words to ask that question in a better way?he made me felt bad.thank you very much for making me feel that i m not in a jungle and i havn't done anything out of the world..thanks alot again.

Loving your family doesn't equate insuring your family! The word "love" has much broader definition, hence all the uproar! Insurance is just one aspect of taking care of one's (future)needs (financial security)... imagine life with all that security minus love? I would have chosen a better title...perhaps... Moral of the story sounds good enough but
million dollars question is that " jat itne paise laayegenge kaha se? Jyadater jat to karze pai dube pade hai...fasali karze ki kist to bhari nahi jati..bank wale bechara ne parehan karte reh hai...kite bijli ke bill na bhare jaate woh connection cut ja sai.."
I can not imagine how can the pay for insurance...So even if a Jat cares very much about his family, what does he do?

Sunil Brother,
This is the patte kee baat. If you think so, please let us all know, how. Even if this is true in 1 % case it will be worth discussing here.
I work here for IBC(Independent Blue Cross) a health care Insurance company from last 7 years. I have not come accross this kind of news before. So if it it is true, It can realy help our jat brothers in villeges. Please enlighten us all where they can get Insurance (What ever kind, health, life, auto etc) without paying money.
Rahi batt villegers ke, Bhai sab ko ek he tarazoo me na tolla kare. There is allways some bad students in every class. If we ourselves do not understand the problems of our villeges, then how we can expect that punjabis and Banye will do. By no means I am saying that I am for free electricity. That can be another discussion lets us not mix many things here. Let us get every jat Insurance, without paying a dime.
Please take these comments lightly and sorry in Advance if any one gets offended...

Dear Ms. Congeniality (Singroha):
I have walked quite a few of the thousand miles journey that you have just begun to take first steps… Therefore, I had responded in a very neutral, polite and sensible way, something others had conveyed in the prior 19 posts, in the language you understand! I read your rebuttals to my last post and still maintained a rather difficult restraint, but you haven’t quit your distasteful utterances…so here is my response!
What do I know about insurance? For one, yes, I do have children and have secured their future. But there is more to their lives while I am still “on this earth,” for instance, whether they need to be fed and nourished; protected well on daily basis; whether they are doing well at school; need help with home work; visit to a theme park; sports activities; teaching them about life and how to tread on it; morals and much more…
What do I know about the story you have so passionately described about Mandeep? A lot! Indeed, for you Mandeep is just one of the clients as an “Insurance Agent,” however, the so-called reality for me actually hit quite close to home! Not too long ago, I lost my 40 years old sister to cancer, and yes, I did love her a lot! I actually brought her 7 years old son to America and am raising him like my own. Can your insurance top that! Yes the financial security does help in unforeseen unfortunate circumstances, but there is much more than that to life. I could have easily managed to send money for the upbringing of my nephew, instead chose to provide him motherhood, need I explain more about what love and sacrifice means to some of us?
I am pretty sure, people who can afford to have a PC or access to a PC are educated and capable enough (no, you don’t need to be a genius to figure out why insurance is needed!) of making such decisions. May be your intention was genuine but you have the wrong audience to talk about insurance, unless it is strictly from a business point of view to provide them with specific information?
I don’t think you need to be defensive about imparting information about your work, many others have done that and have sought favorable responses, and therefore, it is absolutely fine to share that knowledge. But I guess the way you portrayed your intention (using a sad story), didn’t settle well with a few! And how you equated love with insurance was what didn’t seem appropriate. For argument’s sake let’s say a poor guy can’t afford insurance. Does that mean he has stopped loving his blood and flesh? With what authority can you determine his genuine love or lack thereof? While it is important to have the security, depth of one’s love for family can’t be measured with your yardstick!
But then I am not even sure who might be the right audience for this useful information? Because the ones who have meager means may listen to you all they want to, but have no resources to indulge in such luxury while they are faced with the most basic needs, such as electricity and water bills? I guess what people are trying to express is that insurance for some (who can’t even afford to put food on the table today), is a luxury to insure their children’s tomorrow!
Yes, it is easy to give the unsolicited advise, and that’s exactly what others are trying to convey to you…! Whoever said Jatland is one-way forum? You posted something and people felt obligated to provide their input. Live with it! Conventional wisdom dictates any one who thinks has the right to post -- must invariably bear the responsibility to accept criticism, good or bad! I have posted many messages on Jatland, have received fair amount of criticism, but it didn’t ruffle my feathers like yours! I have learned a lot from the process! So be a sport and begin learning…
And, no I don’t want you to accept the title suggested by me, because that would have to be an act of magnanimity, with which you are not familiar…

1. There is nothing wrong in deepika's article but it was very informative if anybody can think with 'POSITIVE MENTALITY'
And I m still stick on my opinion..

if u are elder in age and staying in "AAMMEERRIICCAA"that doesn't mean u know abt. everything is this whole damn world.and please whatever i wrote abt.mandeep don't call it a story coz that's a real incident.i amsorry to hearabt. yur sister asi can make out what all you went through.that's gud u realized yur responsibility and kept yur nephew with u but if u want me to praise u for it then m sorry there's nothing out of this world or grrrrr8 you have done coz yur brother's or sister's kid u just like yur own kid and if u do sou r making any kind of sacrifice and ppl do the same. i know its an expensive case to stay in estates but i yur sister would have taken the policy if wouldhave helped her own son but again we ppl are not aware on this part so can't say yur sister was at fault..and lemme tell ya everybody"s relatives are not residing abroad and moreover everybody hasn't got relative i.e brother or sister (like U).what do they do?regret for not having a brother or sister?.i agree a poor person who loves his/her family can't afford to take insurance policy.well.........maam!exceptions are always there in all fields and things we doin our life.why i wrote this topic here?coz i wanted to make those ppl aware who cango for it but ignore it just thinking them to be minor things.andmreally very sorry if you felt insulted but again you have no right to say or comment on my TITLE and i m satisfied that i m not wrong as i know its the silliest thing to tell someone that he?she should change something one expressed.if u like coke it doesn't mean others also .every human can't be same when it comes to views and thinking.hope getting my point and don't need to explain more.CHILL OUT now....and i hope now you have notihng against me,hope to get yur sweet mailin my box very soon ,take care, ciaoSujata (Jun 03, 2003 12:06 p.m.):

You must visit some psychiatrist wherever available in your neighbourhood. I am sure you need more psychotherapy than jatland .com for sake of your mental health.

M r.Yagya vir Ji.....1st of all i wud like u to understand the concept of good marketing skills ..it means a person who is capable of taking money out of other's pocket and as far as i know i din't make anybody spend money on my advice .did i?marketing skills are applicable when u recommend such product which is not so useful and have many competitors and better products.its an art of persuading ppl to go for any product even if its not good.but believe me i din't intend to sell any useless product for my own interest and secondly its something which will be useful for yur family so that they won't scold u when u r not in the world for not thinking abt. them and for not making them financially secure..if u get yurself insured your children can get good education as imparting education is also becoming expnsive....now tell me one thing......if u get yurself insured and GOD forbids if something goes wrong who will get benefit....i or yur family.so belive there's nothing like marketing skills in my topic...and i assure u if i come on such things i can do wonders.its my belief:-)..hope now your misunderstandings r clear....anyways even if i am good in arguments its not a matter of feeling bad in fact u shud be proud that jat females really know how to tackle others and how to respond ...say wot?YagyaVir Singh Gaawar (Jun 11, 2003 10:36 a.m.):

Never give any justifications .Your friends don't need it and your foes wont believe it .
If some one gives you the heckles , don't blow your tops .Any fool can do that and most fools do it exceptionally well .It takes a wise and a brave person to ignore such dorks .
Most of the times on online forums peeps ( mostly sophists and epsychotics) give the heckles just to stir the hornets nest and thus get their kicks .
OK the 3rd cent also and this one above all ( coming straight out of my decade long web experience)
When on an online Forum - DFTT ie Dont feed the trolls.
Last and the most , dear could you please provide me the details of all the insurance policies and I mean each and everyone you know off .Trust me I am a real donkey in matters of investments ( both monetary and emotional) :(

OBJECTION MY LORD !
Sense and nonsense , like success and failure and like life itself are relative concepts and not absolute concepts .
JUst as there is relativity in creativity ( One of Dayvz many patent pending theories ) there is relativity in our intentions and presentations .
I concur with Sujata "Good intention , poor presentation"
To me ,relatively speaking and I repeat , relatively speaking this 'particular' post of Deepika ie the starting post in the thread makes far more sense than many posts from a certain old veteran member here who is like roughly atleast tripple this teenager's age and has had far more exposure and experiences in life than her .
Point to be noted and appreciated your honour - Dayvy baby has desisted from naming those senile delinquents and hitting them directly unlike the case here where our little one has been the victim of mud slinging as if this thread was nothing but an opportunity to indulge in a free for all mud slinging match .
Trust me and there are many here and not just one and what makes the stats and facts more appaling is that most of the rest sound like a boorish old man though they are still in the 30's , and 40's .
*SIGH*
Few or many members here and may I please be allowed to say , Vakil Sahiba included might like to feel good and get their kicks by dubbing our little one as a Juvenile delinquent but the fact remains that Dayvy baby has loads of candour , camaraderie and empathy for a juvenile delinquent * THUMBS UP *and has not even an iota of sympathy for a 'Senile Delinquent' *THUMBS DOWN*( phrase just coined ) .
THats all my LOrd and with that I agree to disagree with your judgement .

Good intention...poor presentation!
Loving your family doesn't equate insuring your family! The word "love" has much broader definition, hence all the uproar! Insurance is just one aspect of taking care of one's (future)needs (financial security)... imagine life with all that security minus love? I would have chosen a better title...perhaps... "Have you secured your family?"
