i am new to this site and it was really nice to see the response, to see the views... i wrote my views about mallika sehrawat ..and a few guys asked me to grow and some asked me to mature.. i really appreciate your advice and will think over it...one thing which i want to say and have felt that we jats are having enormous ferocity to lead the world specially the rural and semiurban class which determines the politics of india and fate of this country in coming times..our culture is great ,,we are becoming prosperous but in that turn we are losing our character and will to enforce others ,to follow others according to our traditions ..you cant do it unless you have enough energy within you and follow some traditions.. so please dont say like this let mallika live her life.. how can we? when she is affecting our life in some way or other .. when she is affecting our culture in some way or the other.. may be some of you are mature and great that you can forgive and even apreciate the efforts but i feel this is not true with the core of the jat ...a jat cant refuse and forget the indignation brought to him one way or other... and i feel this isthe biggest strength of ours in coming days which will help to sail through present political, economical and cultural scenario.. what we need is just follow our trends respect our elders and work hard.. what we ned is to reform ourselves.. because our ancestors didnt have th eprivilage to study to rule the people with a political far sight .. they were too busy to fight for others .. now we need to fight for ourselves and no doubt that will be the winners... i think in coming times mandal scenario will change.. and there will be polarization again versus rural and urban.. but now lot of people frm rural areas have established themselves in the pockets of cities.. so it will be between rural mindset and urban mindset and i strongly believe that we indians ,jats each and every society in india can progress only and only if a person with pure rural background and having seen the highest place in urban society and can reason out why the urban class enjoys such a luxury and can relate the two groups wil lead india.. that can be any body from youth . but for that we have to protect ourselves frm this westernization and carefully instill the good ideas and good values not forgetting the ferocious character among our younger generation and what is our duty is to put a platform for thier success and my dear brothers surely mallika is not that platform .. so i condemn her in strongest words .. i m not against her as a person whatever she want to do she can... but i strongly feel that her ideology is not one which should even leave a faintest of impression among the girls and guys .. in fact she made me to strongly believe my ideas.... i want your comments

bhai amit,

mallika is a precursor of change..a change that will happen envitably whether u like it or not.economic independence will bring along with it individual independence...u should remember that smallest unit of indian society is an individual and no longer a family. so in this changed scenario every individual would take his own decisions and stick by it. if mallika felt to b an actress that her decision. moral policing is not the norm any more and no longer accepted. u cannot demand respect for culture..it is commanded by the influence of culture on every individual. i m not for westernization nor against it. and also culture is not a rigid thing..it changes with time..the traditions that we follow now were also adopted for the first time some time ago...and that time these tradtions were also new..we need to change and adopt according to the changes around us..those who wont change will b extinct. if u beleive that we should not change and follow what we always have been following then according to u even arya samaj that introduced social reforms in jats shouldnt have been adopted..

i m not in favour of what mallika did and neither i am against it..its not good or bad..it is wat it is..and u have to accept it

It is good or bad, no one can do anything if the smallest unit of indian society is an individual and no longer a family/society etc.

From the various point of views I read here on jatland, I felt that this is happening now.
