Winning stroke: India inflicts 5-3 defeat over Australia
Sunday, June 8, 2003 (Sydney):

Avenging for their last week's final loss against Australia at Perth, India thrashed the hosts 5-3 today to win the second leg of the three-nation invitational hockey tournament.

In the final played before a packed house at the Sydney International Hockey stadium, India scored through Jugraj Singh (30th minute), Gagan Ajit Singh (31), Prabhjot Singh (38 and 64) and Baljit Singh Dhillon (66) to finish their 12- day tour of Australia on a high note.
Earlier in the tournament India drew 4-4 with Pakistan ina gripping and tense match with saw agressive behavior from players.

yeah!now i have started believeing our hockey team can also do well..if they try they can do wonders....its awesome...they have won the series beating all of them...........though i don't have so much interest in games thing but when it comes to the indian team's winning i love games:-)Rohit Guliya (Jun 08, 2003 09:35 a.m.):

Our hocket team is also doing good but it loose momentum in last minutes of games... see last 2 yrs. games... even in olympics.. this time they keep their head high and straight and were able to win comfortably..3 cheers for Dhanraj and his soldiers..
