View Full Version : Critics to My Messages World Jat Convention

Among those invited, included, Shri Om Prakash Chautala, Chief Minister of Haryana, Ch. Ajit Singh ji, Ch. Tikait ji, and many other dignitaries. But due to the elections looming large on the horizon, not all of them could make it to the Convention.
It may be noted that Ch. Om Prakash Chautala, Chief Minister of Haryana was the Chief Guest and among other dignitaries Ch. Tikait ji was the 'Guest of Honor' in the First World Jat Convention held at Talkatora Stadium, Delhi in 2003.
Criticism of efforts of a dedicated team of community stalwarts, trying to take the Jats forward into the 21st century is unbecoming of members of this website, especially when their knowledge about reality is limited by their own narrow vision. It will be more meaning full for them to attend the Third World Jat Convention in 2005 and do something positive for the community instead of being a couch potato and ranting about their silly remarks. It shows how low an opinion they hold of the Jat Community as a whole. Have some self-esteem. And be proud of yourself and the Jat Kaum that you belong to and stop making stupid comments. There are many more serious issues in front of the Jat community than blabbing about politics. If you are eager to talk politics, then why not leave everything you are doing and jump into the general elections fray right now. We will soon find out how big a vision you have for the upliftment of the community.
People who created the World Jat Foundation are of great caliber and have dedicated their time and effort to building a new awareness in the community. They work more than 14 hours each day to make things possible. Try doing a similar International Convention at Talkatora Stadium without any support from any political party or social organization single handedly and then you will know what you are worth of.
What we have done is a benchmark for the Community. If you can't appreciate it! It only indicates the low self-esteem you have of yourself as a Jat.

Dear Rajnish,
I know the hurt one feels when one's own community is not able to appreciate the good work done. I suppose this is part and parcel of this game and one should not loose heart. People have criticised even Gandhi. So there is nothing new in all these things. I must congratualte everyone invoved with the convention as they did a superb job and brought our problems to the forfront. I am sure this will produce visible results. We must continue doing good work and should not worry about so much about these criticisms. Let us take along everyone including those who criticise. I am sure with time even they will understand the good work done.
Regards
Rajendra

Rajnis,
How can u expect anyone to not to criticise u, when u can criticise the person who criticises u.
If u cannot take the heat from critics all ur effort however great is worthless. Attacking the critics and criticism rather than their points, shows ur narrow vision.
There are many jats with great vision and they dont jump into election kyonki apni jaan sabko pyari hai.
I was following this convention closely and greatly appreciate the effort put in. But ur last comment put me off. But, I am eagerly waiting for next yrs convention.

Constructive messages, suggestions, collaborative work, sharing of thoughts are always welcome. But, when a misleading statement is presented which is totally based on false allegations without any basis and abusive of a mission of a truly international organisation; such a statement deserves the strongest contempt. Any weakness in response only encourage other negative people to try and sabotage the good work done by community leaders all over the world. I have no regret to what I have written. If we are not passionate with the mission that has been set by our International Community Leaders, we are not being honest with ourselves and our brave ancestors. We will 'Unite The Community All Over The World' and will allow none to steal our dreams!
I know that I have millions of similar thinking Jats all over the world. I urge them to fight this negativism and prevent the small minority who does nothing constructive but is always nagging others.

Doubting Thomases will always exist and we cannot please everyone. The story of "donkey and washerman" is true for all time. All "false allegations" should be immediately squashed by making the community more aware and increasing communication with the "leaders". It would be great help if we can get the leaders to share their views and discuss it out in this forum. It may be difficult for politicians to join this forum for a few thousand votes will not make a difference to them and they may better utilise their resources elsewhere. But this forum is the new face of Jats, which will only grow in future and early adopters may get an edge in future.

Let us try and make the 2005 convention 10 times better than this one and have 10 times more people attend.
In a few years it will be a major lobby, with political power.
All Jats should support Dr Gehlawat's vision and the enormous effort it has taken so far.
Do not second guess it, support it.
We need Government funds in our rural Jat areas-for schools, equipment, teachers, electricty, phone lines.
In Bulandshar Dist, my wife had taught in a rural school, and introduced Science and math classes for Girls grade 6 to grade 9.
Since she left, the classes have stopped, no equipment, no teachers, no english, no more girls on the Doctor career path, back to home science, knitting, and collecting cow dung cakes.
This is just one of the serious concerns.
Hence I emphasise, please support Dr Gehlawat, in his efforts, and on another allied level Dudhee Sahib in his efforts in rural education.
Without political clout as a united community, we will fail. Votebanks are effective
That was the secret of the Sarv Khap success from 600 AD to 1857AD.
Make 2005 , 10 times more successful than 2004.

Dear Rajnish:
It certainly would be nice to know (for those of us who were not at the convention) any concrete resolutions discussed/passed at the meeting that would improve the lives of rural and the entire community at large. I hope that ideas and efforts of many energetic people could be put in use to enhance the living conditions of our rural folks.

Dear Friends,
You can get a brief glimpse of the proceedings of the Second World Jat Convention, 2004, held at Talkatora Stadium, Delhi on 28th February through the messages posted at this website which lists several media reports and feedback received from participants and those who know the agenda of this International Organization dedicated to the welfare and unity of our brave ‘Jat Community the World Over.’
The purpose of posting the media reports was to educate the ‘Jat Community World Over’ about how we are perceived by the media in a very narrow, often joking way. Obviously, many members of this website have been carried away with that media bias and commented on our efforts to unite the Jat Community as a political exercise in favour of a single political party. You as a member of this brave Jat Community have to think for yourself whether this is true. So many of our brave Jat boys gave the ultimate sacrifice of their lives at Kargil, but has the media or our political leaders recognized us for this? It’s time that we wake up and demand our proper place in the Indian Democracy and the World Over.
Details of the proceedings will be published by the flagship Patrika ‘Jat Jyoti’ in the forthcoming issues of the magazine. I will upload a photo album, which will give you a visual glimpse of the Convention, on the Internet soon. However, you may feel free to contact the office of ‘Jat Jyoti’ at

Somehow the organisors are woefuly short on communication.
I have had this mild compliant since this issue of the First convention started.
Emails to them, go un replied.
Details of resolutions, papers( full papers) presented are asked for ?
All one gets is a palliative,
" Go to Jat Jyoti, see someone's photograph"
Frankly , I for one am not interested in seeing photographs of " dignitaries".
No one really is.
The detailed papers yes !

Dear Mr. Ravi Chaudhary
There is a famous acronym -> JAT which is expanded into Justice, Action & Truth!
I have made inquiries and I can confirm that no such email has been received by Jat Jyoti.
A little honesty is all that is requested by us!
With regards, Rajnish

Do try and not be so prickly, at the slightest whiff of a critical comment.
Why do we Jats have to make the smallest thing a matter of honour, life and death ?
I could also take your comment , as adverse, and react accordingly
I have sent you an email directly, with info.
please review it.

Dear Mr. Rajnish,
Greetings!
1) Please accept my heartiest congratulations for organising this mega event. I would like to thank all the participants and a committed team of volunteers for their enormous efforts dedicated towards this noble mission of welfare and unity of the jat community.
2) I have a question for you regarding your response in this thread. Please take no offence.
How come looking down on the people of the very community, you are proud of, rather than addressing their concern will help this great cause?
Lets make it our dream instead of your or mine.

It is the humility and not arrogance; knowledge and not stubbornness; kindness and not vanity that makes a person or organization successful.
We jats need to learn the difference between the following old sayings (which are intended to give the same message):
"Teri chhori ke log aya hai" or " Apaka mahman aya hai".

Dear Dr. Dudee,
Your point is noted and understood.
I have another interesting observation from Lt Col Jagmohan Malik (Retd) given at this website concerning my messages and I quote him:-
"I have always maintained in life that it is your conscience that knows best. In present times when real brothers kill each other for property of few thousands of rupees, getting together so many JATS under one roof is not only commendable but needs encouragement. I am repeating it for the Nth time on this website that we have a long way to go and at least three generations have to work very very hard to come at par with other pragmatic communities."
Going along with the response generated by my efforts to convey the current events of the community on this website, I have to agree with Lt Col Jagmohan Malik (Retd). I wish no longer to bother anyone with my messages unless solicited by any member of this website. I hope that my grand sons will be the ones who will do something about it! I am sure Lt Col Jagmohan Malik (Retd) will totally agree with this. The next generation and ours are just wasting time in hope of a miracle. So, let the sons of the third generation bear the responsibility of doing something fruitful. Rest of us can just keep on chit chatting about sweet nothings and exchanging pleasantaries on the internet. However, there are a group of senior citizens who have created an International Foundation for the benefit of Jat Youth's and its a real shame that their efforts are wasted in vain!
Lt Col Jagmohan Malik (Retd) must have had similar experiences in life and hence his comment. I know that there are a lot of well meaning personalities out there who feel disappointed by the torch bearers of this generation. But, every community and race has to face this evolution. It takes time and a lot of time to create the magic which makes a community vibrant and flourishing. I just have no patience for such a long wait. I am different, and I thank god for that! Wishing everybody good luck! Rajnish

Dear Frineds,
High time we look forward. My suggestion to the organisers for the future is that let there should be satalite events of the convention. The venue of the event should shift to Jat hinterlands by rotation. This is the only way Jats from rural India will know that there is something like Jat World Forum. Let more and more molhad jats take part in the convention because ultimately its them we want to educate or reform, whatever one wants to call. Let us give a real Jat touch to these conventions.
Regards
Rajendra
