To: Mr. Budh Nashier and other honored members of this website!

Dear Friends,

You can get a brief glimpse of the proceedings of the Second World Jat Convention, 2004, held at Talkatora Stadium, Delhi on 28th February through the messages posted at this website which lists several media reports and feedback received from participants and those who know the agenda of this International Organization dedicated to the welfare and unity of our brave ‘Jat Community the World Over.’

The purpose of posting the media reports was to educate the ‘Jat Community World Over’ about how we are perceived by the media in a very narrow, often joking way. Obviously, many members of this website have been carried away with that media bias and commented on our efforts to unite the Jat Community as a political exercise in favour of a single political party. You as a member of this brave Jat Community have to think for yourself whether this is true. So many of our brave Jat boys gave the ultimate sacrifice of their life at Kargil, but have the media or our political leaders recognized us for this? It’s time that we wake up and demand our proper place in the Indian Democracy and the World Over.

Details of the proceedings will be published by the flagship Patrika ‘Jat Jyoti’ in the forthcoming issues of the magazine. I will upload a photo album, which will give you a visual glimpse of the Convention, on the Internet soon. However, you may feel free to contact the office of ‘Jat Jyoti’ at

Dear Rajnish:

Thanks for your information. I am not a politician nor do I care for any politics. I am an educator in the truest sense whose mission is to utilize all kinds of knowlegde and information for betterment of human life.

A person/organization with a noble mission need not fear any media twists or jokes. Who cares if some media folks have made jokes of your organization or if they have perceived your organization in a narrow way -unless, of course, you are hollow - and then you don't need any media folks to expose. Stay honest to your goals which, I suppose, is the welfare of community - and then you will be fine. I was looking for some highlighted results or discussion to improve rural communities from the convention since I could not be present there. Who cares to see a photo album of some unfornutately stupid politicians - and for what purpose!

My sincere advice to you and your organization would be not to waste time in being defensive simply because that is a misuse of energy. Stay the course and the results will speak for themselves. Slogans don't carry anyone far.

Rajnish Ji,

Very well said Budh Bhai Saheb.

I have always maintained in life that it is your conscience that knows best. In present times when real brothers kill each other for property of few thousands of rupees, getting together so many JATS under one roof is not only commendable but needs encouragement. I am repeating it for the Nth time on this website that we have a long way to go and at least three generations have to work very very hard to come at par with other pragmatic communities. Let us not waste out times as to which political party one is inclined to. As long as you are inclined towards JATS, it is OK with me.

As Rajendra Ji has said in a post, let us grab power by joining whichever party has the best chances of winning and no BJP or Jan Sang wala can cause any harm to JATS. Not very long time back Jan Sangh was called 'Dukandaron Ki Party' but see where these people have reached today. Let we JATS not be used as cannon fodder in any more Kargils. Let us make efforts to educate our girls and boys. Let us 'Matter' in the future scheme of things.

Historically we don't want to come under a declared leader. We are all leaders and that is a tragedy because one has to have direction. Let us all at least arrive at a conclusion that we do need an organisation that can take care of all the JATS and that we become a pressure group. We are a pressure group because we are around Delhi and have enough nuisance value due to this proximity.

It is perhaps a tragedy that such hardworking, loyal, dependable and dedicated people, living on the most fertile land in Asia still lack basic education and health care facilities. Sometimes we lack even basic sense to know that "UNITED WE STAND, DIVIDED WE FALL". We all learnt this in 'teesri class'. Well you can have few JATS in the Fortune 500 list but does some one care. No they don't.

Applaud the efforts of those who are trying to bring the community together instead of wasting our efforts in negativity.

Thanks and regards,

Lt Col JS Malik (Retd)
