Folks,

Can we be a little more responsible and be a better citizen on this site? For one, let us cut down on the Sardar Ji jokes. Frankly, I am sick and tired of it. I am sure many of you are sick and tired of it too. You might just be hurting someone. And I don't think a true Jat would mean to hurt anyone.

Jokes are good. But let us be a little caring about others. Let us have some fun at our own expense.

I know this message may not make it to everyone including those who will join this forum in the future. We just need to constantly remind people of our responsibility.

What do you say?

Thanks for listening.

I agree with Ajmer's view. Let us put more jokes on Jats rather than on sardars. We should not give anyone a reason to point finger at us, though jokes should always be taken in a lighter vein. They are not true reflection of a community.

Tau ne aan do... ;)

Dear Ajmer,

If I am not wrong, maximum jokes are on Sardars and there are web sites celebrating their achievements in this field. The best Sardar Jokes I have heard in my life were narrated by my Sikh friends. They are one community who can laugh on themselves, perhaps one of the reasons for them to be successful.

Of course we should not forget our own 'Tau', 'Sundu', 'Leelu' and the most famous 'Jodi' after Santa and Banta, the Haryana Roadways Conductor and Driver duo.

Making someone smile or laughing is the best things, which a person can do. And if you are the cause for the smile, you should thank to the God that you did a good job that day.

Common dear, you should be laugh after reading those jokes instead posting a thread here.

i think it has nothing to do with responsibilities or being a better citizen when u are not making jokes about sardars. it makes u a better citizen when u do some community work, social service etc

first everyone has the right to express himself, look if u dont like them just ignore them by not reading them its thats simpel. i do the same things with topics i dont like.
and when u dont read then u will wont hurt yourself

and if they are really hurting by any means the administrators should do their jobs
