This is Jaatni. Her antive village is near Shamli in Muzzaffarnagar District In UP. As per my knowledge she completed her study in Delhi as her family settle in Delhi.

This is sure she is Jaatni. And she have mentioned several times this facts in her interview.

Mahima choudhary is Jaatni, in making of "Pardes", her film was shot in UP village, where whole village came to see the Jat girl and many commented that she doesnt look jatni, this in her own words she chuckled in the interview in 'Kapil dil se' - a programme aired recently (and many times earlier) on Sony tv on sunday in UK. She giggled saying that Iam jaat of UP but villagers wished to see tall and huge girl , a typical jaat , that I dint look like!!
However and wherever she stayed and studied , well she is pucca UP jaatni....!!

She is pakka jatni by birth as well as by heart.

We had chance to meet her when she was here last year in san francisco for some performance. We , with the group of 12-13 peolpe ( all jats) went to see her in her hotel room, including Mr and Mrs. Satveer choudhary
( senator). She was staying with her sister. She is quite friendly and down to earth. She was very happy to see fellow jats visiting her at the middle of night.This was after her performance at the award show and she was dead tired. She left next morning at 5 am for India.
