Now that we have a good bit of discussion on how to help our community and society at-large, a few points are in order.
1. In individual efforts to uplift people in our own circles hardly anyone needs much input from outside simply because the concerned people in a circle know their needs and they discuss those needs regularly.
2. To try to make any change in a massive scale, there is a process to follow. Let me guide you through that. First, the prerequisites:
Honesty, Courage, Dedication, A sizable amount of personal wealth in today’s world, Ability to take rejection, A convincing power beyond description and perhaps some more good traits.
Once you got those qualities, then get on the move. Remember you are planning a change for masses. The Govts and elected public officials are supposed to take care of this task. When things are bad then it means that they are not doing the job. Now you go to the masses and start building a vision WITH THEM and FOR THEM. Get them involved and enlighten them. Once they are CONVINCED that there is a better way than the one they are in, they will follow you. They will need your help for a change. Stay with them. If you are still passing the tests of integrity, honesty and dedication, they won’t leave you. If you fail, you are just a statistic. Once the masses throw out those who are not doing their jobs, you are in to do a job you had a vision for.
