Ajit Singh Facing a tough battle as it was in lok sabha election 2004.Because of complete failure on Kisan issue & incumbency factor and also issue of sugarcane farmer taking him towards the lost battle.
Ajit singh who is exploiting farmer interest since he himself got in to the politics. Most of the youth in this area going away from the Ajit singh party..as they all feel that just 10 KM far from Delhi their constituency is the most back ward area among all the other city in NCR region.
Now as Ajit singh got complete picture of the election result..he joined the Hand with the most dreaded criminal of western UP “Madan Bhaiya”(Gurjar community).Arround hundread of the cases of Dacoity,Murder, extortion is registered against him..even Delhi Police and Ghaziabad police could’nt catch him as he has direct close link with Mr. Ajit singh who is the part of NDA government .Now Ajit Singh telling people of Bagpat”APKO PATA HEY HEY KI AAP LOG ELCETION KIS TARAY LARATEY HO AUR KAISEY JITTEY HO” MEANS JUST DO THE BOOTHCAPTURING AND WIN THE ELECTION.

If I am not wrong Satpal Malik is former protege' of Ajit Singh so what difference does it make...even he knows "elections kaise ladte hai aur kaise jeet te hai".And for that matter if issues listed were so important to voters then why do you think Ajit has been winning from this constituency for past one and half decades. Isn't it a crying shame that it took a Romesh Bhandari to bring Delhi-Saharanpur highway in the whatever shape it is in today? But then legacy and false pride outstrips development. With respect to political liasons of Ajit Singh well "thali ka baigan" and "rank opportunist" are too small to describe him.

Yes, he is no longer in NDA. Quit around a year ago. He is well respected by jats of that region and even baniyas of that area votes for him. He is very popular among masses and is also accessible. People their can not think of letting Choudhary sahab (Ch. Charan Singh ji) down by defeating Ajit. They have done that only once, when sompal shashtri won. That too they say was not the intent. they just wanted to narrow down the victory margin and that lead to his defeat. But people then got very upset with that. This time no doubt Ajit is going to won again.
I don't think Madan Bhaiyya can do anything there. Jats are behind him and no one can force them to vote for Ajit. They do that on their own. I don't think Madan ji has influence their. No one knows him. Ask him to visit Baoli and try to force the jats there. He will not come back in one piece. Jats have their own jewels in underworld too. They need not import them in the form of Madan.

He has indeed working with Mulayam and let me correct you baniyas and bahmans never voted for any jat candidate , Ajit has been winning because of jat and muslim votes, he was defeated by Sompal because jat votes were split. Madan bhaiya won because of tacit support by Ajit who wanted RLD to contest from Khekra but BJP didnt budge from it´s position and there again jats voted enmasse for him and gujjar and muslim votes were split. This time again Ajeet will win hands down and victory margin may be even bigger because of his pact with Mulayam...there will be a tactical voting by muslims in his favor. But as I mentioned in my previous post it will hardly make any difference in life of common man or for that matter of any jat except his cronies from Baghpat region.

I agree with you. Infact making Ajit win from Baghpat is a prestige issue for Jats here.
There is good population of baniyas in Baraut and I think most of them are supporters of Ajit there. Brahmins indeed favors Nehru family.

We all know how student polity is organised in india so lets not use it as a barometer to gauge a candidate´s capability.

Agreed , Sompal was given a chance...and I think Satyapal Malik has been a MLA so why dont people look into his record as a MLA ..that would be best way to go about it rather than making sure that the "roti" is properly baked .

I agree with you on the condition of Bagpat and image of Madan Bhaiya but these things hardly matter in politics of today...people even forget that Ajit singh has joined hands with the same Mulayam singh who had humiliated him a decade ago when both were in Janata Dal.
Knowing Bagpat closely I feel that Ajit Singh will win as atleast 70% of Jats will vote for him along with Gujjars and Muslims.
