dear all,
if i say that i have got nothing personal against this shankarachraya institution,i would be more than a hypocrite.i hate and detest it more than any thing known to me.i read that it was this institution which gave a call for the so called gradation system of castes in india at Mount Abu presently in rajasthan.it was the meeting where rajputs were born and jats were put in catagory of shudras.. the untouchables....its different that jats never bowed down under the dictate.but its true that jats were the one who refused to forgo the tradition of widow remarriage along with few other conditions, which were not acceptable to them. and the class of ppl who accepted all this filth they were made rajputs.its a point to be noted that the word "rajput" finds no mention before that event and the word "jat" was in vogue much before that.
lets discuss it and find the truth.

Jats have been victim of their uprightness all through history. Forbidding widow remarriage and prescribing their place in the feet of God was a well planned staretegy of Brahmans to have abundant supply of young women. Even in modern days nothing works more than getting favours through supplying women, so Rajputs played the game with Brahmans or may be they fell into their designs. Jats are never known to compromise their honor for such things. In South Indian Brahmans permitted the marriage of girls to their own maternal uncles.

We have great traditions and let us maintain them..We do not need certificates from Brahmans any more as world is changing too fast and better Brahmans take care of their own place in society..Jats will always remain in demand as there are many things which only Jats can do and no one else...so let us cheer up..
