Thanks for bringing the article to notice. I believe public should be more passionate about such developments. Media find it hard to make a news out of such developments because of the widespread negativity in public about such developments...

ye ho jayega.. 4 din chalegi.. gandagi kaise rok payenge.. itnee mahangee hai.. and so forth...

Last time I went india.. I travelled on Delhi metro just to check it out.

I was very surpised to read the other day that the underground section is running "7 months ahead of schedule"

I think that Delhi Metro has done a commendable job this time around.

Given the free hand, Indian technocrates and scientists can do great job. They can beat not only the time, but can keep the costs also low..Problem comes when politicians and bearocrates take over the control. Let us hope good days of India are returning and some day soon we will be able to walk with pride asa fully developed nation.
