Dear Jatlanders,
I am looking for one legal help from you people.
My self is an Mechanical Engineer & By profession I am a Sales Engineer.
Actually I was working with one firm Namely M/s Multitex Filtartion Engineers Limited. But the atmosphere at that place was not a professional one. One day, I approached my Previous employer, M/s Beacon Weir Limited. While talking in general they gave me an offer to join them again keeping in view my past performance. But there was a condition by HRD that the person will to have execute a bond (Brought in recently) which I agreed. I was given an Offer of Appointment. On that offer I confrimed that I will enter into the Bond. I joined the company.
After working with for 14-15 days, I got an appointment with some other company at a better salary & better terms. I informed my Boss about the same.
Till that day, I had not signed the Bond and I had not recd. any appointment Letter as well. To mention, as per my earlier appointment letter (While working in my last term), there was a condition that the person on probation will have to serve a notice period for one month & the confrimed one will have to serve the three month notice.
My boss said that as you have not signed the bond & the appointment letter, you are free to go. But there was a prestigous project was in line which I was handling. No other person in the company has been able to get those particular order in last 8-10 years. I had confrimed to my Boss that I Will get that Order. So my Boss requested me to stay back for the same & confirmed that he will be talking to his seniors in the matter that the condition of appointment may be eased & be given a salary rise.
On enquiring about my salary that if I quit as per his request (After getting those orders), If I will be paid my salary for the period worked? He confirmed YES
I got the order for that project but it took one month. In the end, My boss regretted that I can not be given a salary rise & the condition can not be eased of. After that I quit with an assurance from my Boss that I will be paid for the period I served but it will come alongwith full & final settlement as per the company norms.
Now after chasing a lot with those people, they have refused to pay.
Can you people help me to suggest the way out.
Here, one of my biggest question to the company will be that I had stayed back only my Boss request. had I not stayed back on his request, It would have been a loss of 14-15 days salary. Now it is one & a half month.
Here, i would like to metion that whatever, I had talked to my boss is verbal which is negative on my part.
once again I would request you to suggest me the way out.
