Blood of a Dalit
Once upon a time a Jat Chaudhary became seriously ill. He was kattar casteist and office bearer of his caste organisation. He was shifted to Pgims, Rohtak. The doctors said that he has Peptic perforation and he will need an urgent operation. Surprisingly his haemoglobin was 7 gm %. He was asked to arrange three units of blood . He was accompanied by two three psychophant chelas who refused to give blood on one pretxt or the other. His only son was in U.K. His second daughter Bhateri immediately came from her sausral and donated one unit. still two Units were required. He wanted to purchase the blood with any amount of money but could not as the hospital rules didnot permit such transfusions. In the meantime a bearer (dalit) from his village came to know and he donated one unit of blood for him.One unit was arranged from the hospital blood bank on his(bearer’s) request. Chaudhary sahib had a dilemma to get that blood transfused. His daughter said, “Look Pappa blood of every human being is the same exept their blood groups, donot refuse .” He kept mum. He was operated and saved.
The question is accepted the blood from a dalit , whether it was right or wrong?
Pure breed of Jat would have impurity with that or not?
What one should do in such situations when blood from a jat donor is not available?
I know many will react sharply. But I think these are the issues to be debated.

My dear ranbir Singh ji,

I am not a doc and hence not competent enough to comment on the issue from that angle but i know and beleive that it will be absolutely stupid to undermine the strength of the blood of a dalit. They are as good as anybody else.KHAM-KHAN KI MARRODD MEIN KE DHRYA SE DOC SAHEB........??

In one of my earlier posts, many months back, I had questioned the issue of so called 'Ancestry'. I had said that if a super computer could matach the DNA of the complete population of the world, many so called 'Ancestry Wallahs' will not know where to run.

We all know that all humans beings are equal. Has anyone seen any casteism in animals?

I am reminded of my Company 'Barakhana' (A community feast held commonly in the Army on selected occassions). I had given orders to my senior Subedar that in every 'Badakhana' I will be served food only by the 'Sweeper' of my Company. As simple as that.

There is absolutely no harm in taking the blood from a 'So Called Dalit'. After all he has been given this name by another human being and not by the creater of humanity.

Dear Colonel Malik,

Very well brought out. In my every post I have been trying to bring this point home, when we talk about Jats getting their share in power game in India. My views are that we need to have a change in attitude to take all communities with us to be leader.

Some times I wonder when some of our community members measure even success of a person whether he/she is a Jat or not?

It is more important to be a good human being rather than Jat/Rajput/Brahmin/Rich or Poor.
