Its just a thought.

Since we have more then 2800 members here and only SOME are active i have a small idea for making more members intercat.

We should have a seperate section called "Birthday Section".

The JATLAND website displays list of member(s) [bottom left] who have birthday on that day.
So each day when the NORMAL active members log on we can just drop our wishes under that section for the member.

Here is what might happen considering there are two types of members. ACTIVE and DORMANT.

ACTIVE MEMBER: It will make their day by so many wishes from friends and strangers and a chance to intercat with new people and make more friends.

DORMANT MEMBER: Considering the member is dormant/inactive so there is a HUGE chance that he/she might not be online that day, but whenever in future they DO COME ONLINE and check birthday wishes from us
they will feel a slight GUILT of not reading it and will make it a habit of coming online to JATLAND more frequent and this way we will intercat more and make more friends.

one last thing .. according to this idea we would have covered ALL THE members in 365 days.

members are not even ready to share their real name..forget abt birthdays and other details...but yes 1 thing can happen...consider the day of memebership as the birth day and send out emails and this should be in membership agreement.

This is a very nice idea.Admin should take some steps to make this site more lively by making a Birthday Section or mayb we can create threads sunsign wise so that we know atleast this much about our friends/members.:)
