Thanks for the link, as it provides useful overview and is a good single source of information about all countries.
But I think by focussing on the width, it lacks depth. I went over the link about India, I did not find a single mention of Jats at all! For example, under Mughal rule section, it has a fleeting mention of peasant revolts during Aurangzeb's time. I guess they were probably referring to the Jat kingdom of Bharatpur.

Thanks Rajendra ji for sharing such a useful site with info at one place. I somehow was searching JAT heading in Afghanistan but info provided is not correct. It has shown Jats as very low status people. It has to be got deleted.

Dear Naveen,
I am almost certain that US administration got all this stuff written on contract by some well known country specific historians from all over the world. May be some one from us find out the details of the person who wrote the Indian history portion. In this modern age of lobbying, I suppose we have to form an active group of Jats who should indulge in lobbying activities almost on a regular basis. Let us not forget that Jats have many social and political adversaries.

I agree with you Laxman Ji. But once again we will have to find out the source, who wrote on Afganistan. Also this gives us an opportunity to open some dialogue with Jats in Afganistan, more so when Indo-Afgan relations are on upswing. We need to find out the details of some active Jat leaders in these countries and then guide them to take up such matters through their governments or through some other organisation.

Rajendra
