It was quite interesting. But I always heard Kairana in context of anti-national activities. It is so ghettoized that, it seems, even police doesnt dare to enter the town.

Very well, but I passed through that town twice or thrice ( as it is quite near to my nanihal) and I found the it rather strange, to be honest I felt as if I am out of the country, anyway this is a history forum , no place to discuss demographics. I will end with a remark that demography of Meerut commissionary is changing at alarming pace which is not a good omen. But it would be nice if you could throw light on the origins of muslims of the area ( they don't seem to have turkish-arab ancestry for sure).
