During my college travels in Delhi's infamous DTC buses, there was this one conductor who always picked on all the "taus." One day, as the bus was already packed, our tau was not only taking himself to Delhi, but a busload of "tinday" and couldn't get in, meanwhile the bus had started moving, frustrated, our conductor yelled, "Tau chadh kyun na layta jaldi si bus mai, ib geetaan aali lyaoon ke teri tahin?"
Now our tau was no old fool, he retorted, "Na bhai, geetaan aali te tu raakh - munne te tere baraatiayan te muskil hori sai (turns out a lot of local Bihari workers were traveling by the same bus)!
