Hi all,

In my View it is very necessay what I am going to demand from all of you but I would like to know your views also.

As i think the career guidance After 10+2 and graduation is very necessary. But in haryana this guidance is not proper. I am writing down few feilds which are in my knowledge. But I know it is a very short list. Please add whatever you know in this list. I want this list should contain each and every option which exists in india. Please try to complete this list as soon as possible so that i can forward this list to all the school and college libraries of panipat(from where I belong). Very obvious any person can forward this list to the needy students.

I do'nt know much about the oppourtunities in the field of Navy,Airforce,Journalism etc. So People realted to these fields Please Add somthing.

If someone knows about a special line which is not dependent on acedemic qualification please write about that also.

Please don't mind if I had said something wrong.

This is really a good begining....I think what more can be done other than just mentioning the names is that every one can become a "life guard" of one area of career... what I mean to say is that lets say I am an engineer and have done my MBA so I can provide all the information needed for getting in to this line of career and what are the things that one must keep in mind and what can be helpful etc....

just my 2 cents

cheers

I beg to differ

But I feel one should develop some skill, rather than going for formal
education. As there is so much educated unemployed youth. When I was in
Haryana last year I came across many unemployed Engineer, More We should
go for Quality Education rather than joining some 3rd grade Professional
college.
I appeal to all as a Jat try to learn some skill like carpentry, Welding,
Motor Mechanics or very own Farming.

More over I see Lot of corruption in selection of Government Services. You
need to "Bhatija" or "Bhanga" of some political icon like Chautala or
Bhajan Lal to become Officer in haryana.

Yaar There is hardly one youth out of 10,000 odd get into IIT,IIM or join
IAS-IPS, so don't run after these wild dreams and be practical

yup u r right ..............if u have caliber then no one can stop u ..............but if ur caliber is slightly less then what ?

and mydear frnd........there are only a few aryabhat or kalam.............rest r normal person.........and his/her chances decreases a lot when he/she entred in field with some relative of big entity.

i agree with Sumer to a some extent but not entirly.

Dear Friend...

/* yup u r right ..............if u have caliber then no one can stop u ..............but if ur caliber is slightly less then what ? */

Every one have the same caliber as i think , just one have need to use it..... only those get sucesss who understand their targets and caliber at time....

as Great Scientist Nueton.... said "every human being have the equal mind... only the difference lies in its use...... as much you will use it ... as much your chance of success will increase.........

/* and mydear frnd........there are only a few aryabhat or kalam.............rest r normal person.........and his/her chances decreases a lot when he/she entred in field with some relative of big entity. */

" could you like to tell me your mean about the normal person."..... as i think whatever is exists in this world are the result of the work of normal person ... (not of the abnormal person)

by the way I think it is parents duty to understand the caliber of his child... if he/she does not seems too much intrested in study then parents try to know about his intrest/mind.... and deploy him/her in his/her own intrested field.... and surly it will bring the desirable output.....

thanks

Thanks to all of you for so quick reply. I am Also waiting for much more. Dudi ji I am totally agree with you. but somewhat we are the only people who are responsible for these type of situation. agar aaj koi kahe ki main aapke ladke ko naukri dilwa doonga to parents forun paise le ke pahunch jaate hain(if the boy is unemployeed).koi ye nahi kahta ki sifaris ki naukri hume nahi chahiye.

But this thread is not suitable for these discussions. I know me or you alone can't change the system. But I am only trying to colllect some matirial which will be benificial in any case.

/*Yaar There is hardly one youth out of 10,000 odd get into IIT,IIM or join
IAS-IPS, so don't run after these wild dreams and be practical*/

I knew u r right. but there are so many who are not in this race. many students do'nt know what is IIT and IIM. If all of them Join the race they can be 2 instead of one.

so please confined yourself upto oppourtunities nothing else.

ya v true!
But jus 4 d sake of becomin an engineer/doctor/lawyer/architect.....One shudn't have such dreams which one can't fulfill.I mean no1 can stop u frm reaching thr but then everyone shud analyse thr capability also n its not a gud thing 2 be +ve abt everything as I've seen many students tired of d work pressure in architecture n they end up in gettin lotsa backs every year!

If u think u can manage 2 do wat u cudn't do all ur life.....If u still have dat much confidence then go ahead ,keeping in mind d amount of hard work u'll have 2 put in each day!!
