Rajpal,
We are all with you. You would need to fix a date first, otherwise this thread will just drift aimlessly. I would therefore agree with Vijayshree's suggestion of third week of July. Is there anyone else who agrees with 3rd week of July?

Dear Dr. Poonia,

Thanks a lot for taking the initiative in organizing the community. My suggestion is to go to website www.anywho.com and type in the various Gotras/last name in the last name field and the state, and you will find the phone #s and addresses of the community people. Call them and inform them, Take their email IDs for the data base as well as their addresses. Send them the copy of this directory.

I am sure, slowly and steadily you will be able to get all members to your organization.

I wish you and your team all the success. You already have some dedicated people like Ms. Vijayshree and Mr. Amit with you.

Please do let us know if AJA NE chapter could be of any help to your from this end.

Dear UK Members,

If you feel that the number of people going to be limited, then probably you may like to contact each other and decide on common dishes for the catering purposes and few games that all of you can enjoy. May be pooling of resources would be a good idea.

We at NJ are really lucky to have a great Jat Community, that not only strong in numbers but also is committed to the community functions. We had close to 200 people on picnic and most important part was we all really enjoyed. The rain God was also very kind to all of us as it did not rain on that day, while heavy rains preceeded the picnic day.

Kapoor Singh Ji and Balinder Kundu Ji organized the games for all of us. Volley ball teams were led by Mr. Dev Dabas and Mr. Vireshwar Ahlawat. Since we had too many players, Mr. Sri Om Dalal has to make another team. Pulling of the rope was the last event, which our ladies won.

Sanjay Roperia ensures that every one was fed very well. The food was excellent. Many members brought some sweet on their own initiative. Over all it was a great fun which all of us enjoyed.

As i have told to D.r poonia it's a hard task to unite jat, i dont understand a fellow member want to unite all the uk jats and giving his effort some time by arranging a jat meet sometime a community picnic but seems like very few jats have got jat blood left in their viens like last jat meet only 3 members turn out in the meet but poonia bro no matter what happened i am still a jat and have all the jat jeans in my blood so tell me the date and i will be on the picnic.Others wake up and try to remember that u are some thing more than just a work machine a human being a part of society, jat society and u have a reposibility atleast meet with each other it may give u some thing believe me u wont loose anything by meeting other fellow jats.

Most of people live far and many dont want to travel. I think that is the biggest problem.

And we did organise a diwali party few years back and some people did turn up. The problem also is people to share this responsibility. Same people doing the work all the time and with family commitements it is difficult.

The commitment has to come from all the community members.

Like minded Jats I know in the London area are meeting regularly anyway.

But suggestions are welcome and lets try to organise something.

Amit Consider paying hourly rates to those hard workin people to join Jat meetings and also pay them to wear Jat shirts and caps (word Jat written on them in bold).

I am thinking about this JAT BRAND for long time. High quality garments no cheap stuff. I want to see people wearing this brand all over the world.

Brand ambassdors will be our Jat Cowboys.
