I was wondering if some jat bhai could guide me on the prospect of migrating to Canada.
What is the procedure and how can this be accomplished.

Thanks

Immigration to canada is not a huge mystery. The immigration process
is well defined, and the defined processes are adhered to.

All the information is available at:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/index.html

and specific information for independent skilled people is
available at:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/skilled/index.html

All forms and procedures etc are defined there. You shouldn't need
to pay anyone for the paperwork etc., especially if you readily
meet the requirements. If you fall short, and are (ahem) augmenting
your application, then I guess you might want to check around.

Of course, before you go into all that you might want to seek
feedback from people who have recently migrated there. I hear that
recently many people from our region have migrated.

I constantly hear that new immigrants have a lot of trouble finding
jobs that are appropriate for their qualifications. Many people are
stuck in dead end jobs, or factory related jobs and it often takes
a substantial time and effort before they get well set. Desi qualifications
and experience are a hard sell over there. So you might want to
investigate all that and examine what you stand to lose. Middle aged
professionals are probably hardest hit. Young people and those that
are willing to go for further studies are better off.

It seems most of these new immigrants whine and complain about all they
left back home and why it wasn't worth it and stuff like that....but
at the end of the day I don't hear too many actually packing
their bags and going back. Some say its due to embarrassment.

So don't know what the deal is.

Anyways, do your research......

Here
Its good that you are willing to come to canada. But here these people who come by immigration mostly end in to dead type of Jobs so its my advice to you please see your jobs prospect here. Because whenever you go for job interview they will ask for some canadian experience so its not a bad idea to do some canadian management or some other degree. Specially for Medicos its very tough to enter in proffesion and for Veterinarian its take two to three years for getting license.
