Many insist that Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's historic visit to the United States will mark a new chapter in bilateral relations.
But others, particularly the Leftists, say it amounts to a 'sellout' by India. They say the visit is more show than substance.
India is setting itself up to become a 'client state' of the US, they say. Some point out that we are unequal partners.
