It is ironic that in middle of all these CBM's and bus services nobody is talking about kashmiri pandits. They are refugees in their own country. People talk about plight of "kashmiris" but there is no mention of ethnic cleansing carried out by islamofascists in Kashmir. All I can infer is that kashmiri pandits are paying high price for being hindus.

Hi,
Ashok's Pandit's video is good... let me add to this few other steps that Indian communtiy had taken recently in lobbying for Kashmiri Pandits in USA...
1) FACT (The Foundation Against Continuing Terrorism, USA) organized an exhibition on July 11th and 12th in US Capitol where many congressmen came. Boards for An Exhibition on Kashmir "A Glimpse of a Tragedy without an End" were designed by my roommate :-) and can be viewed at
http://www.factusa.org
2) Two days back we (DESI, a new organization of Indian students, visit DESI at http://www.desiumd.org )hosted a talk by Francois Gautier(who has done a lot for issue of Kashmiri Pandits) meaning to raise funds for museum of Indian History.

3) 2 months back DESI organized a big panel discussion where 6 experts on the topic were invited to talk. visit Terrorism in Kashmir : The Threat of Expanding Global Jihad in South Asia
http://www.factusa.org/desi/pressrelease.htm
4) Last year a DESI volunteer did extensive research on the topic and gave a talk in Univ of Maryland campus to spread awareness. Those who want slides of this 4 hr presentation(which also includes Ashok's video) lemme know personally

There is a team of volunteers in DESI called SAINTS(Student Againsts International Terrorism) which aims to raise issue of global terrorism specially in south-east asia and contribute in whatever way we can in order to restore peace in the sub-continent. Those who are interetsed in knowing more about DESI plz visit http://www.desiumd.org or mail me.....
Thanks
