As you all know by now about this report on 1984 anti-sikh riots. It says it has credible evidence against Jagdish Tytler and others in the 1984 riots. This report misses some key points that should been addressed. I think, this report has been moderated. But anyway, whatever mentioned in the report should be acted upon.

ATR of the govt, however, says that action cannot be taken against Tytler on the basis of probability. The Panel also says that there were seven FIRs filed against Sajjan Kumar. ATR also mentions many other faces who were involved in rioting. There is a lot of pressure on central govt. to take action against the accused. It's a pity to our judicial system that culprits of major tragedies like this one, Bhopal gas tragedy, Godhra case are roaming freely and more over they sit in parliament as well.

I think, it's high time that govt. should act upon Nanavati report and stern action should be taken against the accused whether he's an MP or a minister. First the ministers should immediately resign and if they don't submit their resignation, Mr. PM should think of resigning(just as a threat). If the govt. misses this chance, there is a good possibility that terrorism and a demand for separate khalistan may resurface in Punjab. I know there is a huge unrest among sikhs about it and I also feel it genuine.

What do u have to say about this issue?

Dear Navin,

Let me first appreciate the forthrightness and alcarity with which you have stated the facts. Well done, my friend.

Well, two things stand out in the Nanavati report and essentially on one hand it talks about the allegations and on the other the depositions but it does not talk about the facts established. Its a sham.

I have said this before and would say it again : what we have really been doing in this country is collecting the garbage from around the country, placing it in the parliament and the legislative assemblies and hoping against hope that wonderful things would be happen.

Its really time, mothers in our country once again start giving birth to Udham Singh's.

I want this to happen in my lifetime.

Dhiren,

I would assume that you should not be older than Udham Singh when he went to UK and shot Dyer. What is stoping you to become Udham Singh ? If he could travel all the way to London, I am sure it should not take lot of efforts for you to make it to Delhi from Gurgaon. Don't you think you can make at least one Udham Singh happen in your life time?

Hi all,

How can the true Nanawati reported be tabled as all of us know the current status of the UPA govt... here it goes
Headed by a Italian waitress, chaired by a banker, railway being run by a person who has a couple railway coal theft cases pending against him, Ram Vilas Pawsan who was once chagred of running away with the fees of the school he used to teach in, more than 42 MP's who support UPA govt have cases such as immoral trafficing, Arms act we have the great Mohd Shabudhin who can 98 cases of murder pending in various courts 2 more to get to 100... we have lots and lots more..... the list is endless.... and we indians are to be blamed .. we have voted them in.... strange ...

Regards

Mayank
