Dear Members,
May be very few know about her but her heroic heart & sharp mind made her stood among the Top Respected Jats & titled as Virangna Sheifaly Chaudhary.
SHE WAS THE FIRST HELICOPTER PILOT of INDIA.
SHE DIED IN ACTION DURING RESCUING HER THREE SENIOR OFFICERS WHILE THEY WERE DRAINING in A RIVER DURING CAMPAIGNING.
She was from LADAUNA Village in Bulandshahar Distt (UP).
She was elder of all in the Family & been apointed as Ft Lt in IAF.
There are so many incidents of her life which reflects her HIGH ATTITUDE of living life.
She was having forsight power to see in the future, that's why in her childhood itself she stated that when i will be in IAF & when I will die.
But she promised her family members that she will never die in actual & will take rebirth by various names.
It's difficult to share every incident abour her but here is the Last one of her life.(A book been written on her "Virangna Sheifaly Chaudhary", about which I will tell so some other time).
in brief....
There was some plan of some Campaign on the next morning, but it was so happened that the a Group of IAF Officers moved on the same day.
During the journey they haulted near a river (in the Bulandshahar region I don,t know exactly) due to been attracted of the location of the river.
In the Group 3 of the Senior Officers planned to take bath in the river.
During that due to heavy flow of the river they started draining.
Pilot Sheifaly was outside and was forced not to dive in heavy flow of water to save them. But she was made of some different soil & without caring of her own she dived.
She saved one, & moved to another. She become tired but she successfully pushed second also towards the bank. She got tired badly. Her officers who got saved, ordered her not to go for the third one because of heavy flow & her tiredness. But she already decided to save thired also.
She converge all her efforts & any how managed to push the 3rd Officer also towards the bankside & then the offcers tried to push her out of the river from near the bank.
As they were not good swimeer they tried as they could. Anyhow they managed to catch her hairs but she got trapped in very heavyflow. She almost lost all her power. At last she got lost in the flow but already saved Three of her Senior Officers in that Ironical Rushours.

In Bareilly there is a Stambh in her Brave Memories named PILOT SHEIFALY CHAUDHARY. If anybody got chance to visit JAT REGIMENT in Bareilly may have observed.
So we should salute her. The true salute to her will be when you will dip yourself entirely in your goel. She decided to become a pilot & she was.
So set your goel as high as u can & put your everything to achieve it.

She is my sister in relation. Vill-Ladauna is near my Vill-Firozpur (Near Vill-Gothni, On the road from Khurja to Jewar & Peshawa)

In Fact She was FIRST WOMEN HELICOPTER PILOT OF INDIAN AIR FORCE.
While on summer vacations she worked in her village in fields.
Exerting swat in summer, she , when been observed by the relatives was requested to sit outside the fields & just do rest or observe other relatives working there. But she refused by just forgetting her comferts what she was used to in Metros. She was very fond of working in fields with other women of village despite of being spent lots of life in Air Conditioners.
This is called the Great touch with the Motherland.

Dear Rahul,

Thanks a lot for sharing this information. It is great to know our community girls who make us proud even when they are not with us. Surely, she will never die and will always remain in our hearts and memories. As rightly said, we all need to devote ourself to achieve our goals like Virangana. I happen to visit Ferozpur Village only one time in my life and that was in 1964. I was a kid that time. My Buaji was married in that village and I remember having attended a "Jaunar" the function one day prior to the wedding of a boy. I remember the famous dish that people serve in that area "Dahi-Bura",

I am sure now the busses must be running to Ferozpur, I remember we had to get down the bus couple of miles away from the village and then take a Tonga to reach there.

I once again thank you very much for posting this information.

Dear Sir,
Thanx to reply for the thread.

Now a days Buses are running from Khurja to Jewar.
Jewar Tappal road to aligarh has been connected to Delhi-Agra H/W at Palwal.
But the road is still zig-zag type between Khurja Jn to Jewar.
Fomere VC of Meerut University Sh Rampal Singh Ji (Gothni Vill) established a professional college at the way to our village Firozpur (namely CH HARBANSH SINGH Mahavidyalaya).
An Agri. College is also been planned in the village but awaiting the required area (min 80 Bighas) of land to be given the villagers.
Road from Khuja to Jewar has been cleared upto Four Lane on papers.
Overall progress is there but very slow as compared to some other parts of West UP.
My Grandfather are three brothers. Name are Sh Ramcharan Singh (Youngest), Sh Saudan Singh (Eldest) & Sh Ram Singh (Middle).
My Grandfather's name is Sh Ramcharan Singh.
I don't know much of the villagers of our village but by face i know most of them.
I m in Meerut working in a company so rarely get time to go home in my village.
OK Thankyou sir. At least u know our village & having some relation to the same.
I think I m boring u.
Bye & Namaste.
