Dear AJA and all Jat Community members,
The traditional Diwali Function for 2005 would be organized at East Brunswick, NJ on 05th November from 6:30 PM to 10:30 PM. The exact program and the direction to the venue will be posted in a few days. I would like to request you to mark your calander now, so that you are able to meet maximum communty members on one single day in the American Continent.
The function will be organized with the elan, pomp and show meriting the grand occassion. We will go with our regular entertainment program. Kindly prepare young kids, teenagers and off course yourself to be part of the entertainment program. Should you have any ideas, kind do send them to me at my private email at veerutav@optonline.net I shall be highly obliged for your kind suggestions.
Any event is as successful as the community want it to be. You have made my task simple by massive participation during the past one year and I really thank you all for that. Your commitment to the community touched my heart, when some of you still attended the function, even though our invitation could not reach you in time. That really shows your commitment to the community.
As the President of the NE Chapter of AJA, I would request that not only you ensure that you attend this function, but also bring atleast two families with you, who either have not attended the function or have not received the invitation, due to their address not being with us. Please also do send me an email if you know any Jat Family that has moved to NE area of US. It will be a pleasure to welcome these families on this occassion and introduce them to the rest of the community.
Your participation means a lot to us and the entire community and I am sure that you all will contribute your bit to make this function a great success.
