Bhaai mein yaahan kissi political party ka favor naahin karen laag raaaha sson

par jisne musharraf ke khilaaf awaaz taan ki jaaraat kaari woh bhi JAT hee see... As Jat can only think in those revolutionary terms... Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry is the person who stood infront of Pakistan's General .... Aur aap logon ko sabko pata hai ki ek JAT ke alwaa iss tareh ka kaam koye baaniya baahmaan toh kar na sakta...
So I am saying about World Jat Organisation as a whole which contains members of all political parties. You can see Congress as well as BJP on the same platform.. Even I have seen it many times.... Dharmender, Dara Singh, Sajjan Kumar(Congress), Sahib Singh (B.J.P.) on same manch... So I am trying to create the JAT unity inspite of pulling leg of each other as it common feature of Jat community.

Baawley bhai... mere upper ke post mein ishaara unn logon ki taraf hai jinhoney Siddhu ko president banaya hai ( as per your sources of info) na ki aap ki taraf... you are just writing what you have read or perhaps litened ...

Aur haan,.... bahoot se Muslim Choudhary Likhtey hain... aap ko shayad pata nahi... they are not Jats... Even Kolkatta side mein kaafi bengali bhi Choudhary/Chaudhary/Choudhury likhtey hain..... so dont get confused...

we certainly do not doubt your intentions behind this thread and firmly believe that you want Jat Unity. But, at the same time, it would be better that you take some time in reading old posts in Jat History and Current Affairs forums. There are many topics where worthy members have discussed Jats / Non Jats among celebrities...

    Good luck!

This discussion is going to be somewhat serious. Hopefully , most of the worthy members would have taken part in an earlier discussion such like this... Thread was " whether we are hindus or jats first "...
Well, I strongly believe in jat unity not segregated on religious sects................. Most of the historians also consider us jats first rather than hindus/sikhs........

Hooda Bhai Sahab ........... I totally disagree with you

Politicians are all sum - YES

But a Punjabi Jat & a Haryanvi Jat are no different ----- just like you can be a Haryanvi & Jat at the same time one can be a Punjabu Putar & Jat at the same time.

We should not make these minor distictions such a big issue ....... because we have Deswali Jats & Baagdi Jats and others ... so lets get us all Jats united and not divide ourselves ........

    The Approach

    Dear Members,

It is interesting to read feelings of the people about Jats and Jat Sikhs. Here it might be a good idea to go back to history and find out as to who are the Jat Sikhs.

As far as I know, Sikhism is not a religion, but a way of life. It is the group of people who got united to fight the social evils and eventually against the Mughal Rule in India. All those who took up to this way of life were originally Hindus from varous walks of life. Most of these who joined the fighting wing happened to be Jats who took up to the Sikhism. If that be so, I would say, the Jat Sikhs come from the families who couple of hundred years ago, took up the challange to fight against the Mughals. Over a preiod of time, the things have changed, and people with wested intrests have darken the dividing line. I would say people with a very narrow vision, may like to restrict themselves to their definition of Jats. I have seen in my life time, division among the Jats themselves. From Jats it becomes, UP wala and Haryana Wala, and then it becomes Rohatak Wala and Sonepat Wala.

I feel hurt when I see the younger people trying to widen the gap rather than bridging the gap.

Whether or not Navjot Sidhu deserves to adore the position that has been vested in him, is not the issue here. Obviously, there might not be another leader who was either capable for the position or was willing to accept the position. The most important thing is "What are the objectives of the organization?" and what are Mr. Sidhu's plan to achieve those objectives? Did some one asked those questions? If, yes!, then what was his answer?

I guess, rather than just trying to find faults in any post, it may be a good idea to find meaning in it. That probably would do a greater service to the community.

These are my views, and I don't expect many members to agree with me. We all have right to have our own opinion.

    Good luck with your discussion.

I for one do agree with you completely. It's amazing how easily we start to differentiate. I think its bad enough we do that on a national level - I haven't lived in India since I was 5. So many times it has happened that when coming across someone who looks like they might be Indian and ask them, and the answer I get is "I come from Tamil Nadu or Delhi or whatever; while the answer should be simply, yes I am Indian!"
Perhaps when someone lives outside India it somehow doesn't matter who you are and where in India you hail from, just coming across a face that looks familiar in an alien crowd fills you with apnapan.

While that might be the opinion of the majority of community, I personally feel that if you really want to ruin any community just stat giving them some thing for free. In simple village words "Make them Haramkhor". I think need of the hour is two folds. Firstly, oppose the reservation of any nature what other communities have got. How can it be done, frankly, I have no idea at this time. But together we can find out some way. Secondly, utilize community resources, and our strength (hard work that is what we are known for) to bring our less fortunate brothers in to next higher income group.

If as a community, we can bring about the harmony among all jats (jatts and Jatt sikhs included) and become one force under one leader, then it really does not matter who the leader is?

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------
At the onset of my thread I apologize if I might've misunderstood the rest of the postings in general or I do not agree with them. However the above 2, I find very interesting & nice.

While I take no offense to generalized opinion of some that if I in particular say No to Reservation of any kind, I become a psuedo Jat. I know my origin & need not prove to anyone the honor & respect my family name commands. But I urge you to do some soul searching & look for the "Honor & Code - Fighting spirit that Jats are known world over" within yourselves.

Make no mistake that we're often misrepresented & mistaken for being the rowdy, illmannered roughians who fight amongst themselves - deeds of a few some & nothing pains me more when the classification is generalised; and if some choose to be different then are branded psuedo's. The question is of individual judgement but on whose side are you after all?

From the childhood we're taught to place the national interests at the top of the list then state or individual's. But it's plightful just as Seema pointed out that most still favor their states. Being a nation player, I often experienced this first hand. People took pride to represent their states but the country. It's so rightly picturized in the movie - Chake de India.

Anyways, coming back to the all important discussion of 'No to Reservations'... I personally and I quote again ... "It is strictly my personal opinion" that when I say No to Reservation, I mean no to any sort of reservation in the country, especially at the professional front. Merit & performance should be the call today.

We need to make India "Karam pradhan - The best man for the job" and not Castes, Creed, Religion or Sex determining the candidature.

I fully understand the issues faced by the economically challenged & so called backward classes today but then this is just another problem which can be solved with appropriate focus & best of the brains working in sync. There is nothing than can not be solved! Make no mistake that it'd be far easier to solve it in a board room than actually implementing the solution. The problem is we often try to solve the 'World Hunger' and lose focus amongst other interdependent environmental factors of personal, creed or state nature not prioritizing what is in the best interests of our country.

I'm proud to be a Jat but even more to be an Indian. An Indian first - I would love to see each Jat and all of the Jatlands prosper but only as a part of India on the whole!

With all this said, I'd like to propose that instead of brick-battering each other over lesser important issues, how about we come up with Innovative solutions which may solve such problems from the root in the coming years. Let's see if we can collectively create a "possible solution" and if we succeed, find out a way to propose the same to the government & the people of our country - worldwide!

My question is - Are you game?

"Improvement begins with the word I"

    Cheers!

However, Jats (all hindu, muslim, sikh, isaai, bisnoi, kabirpanthi, jain, bodh etc.) would like to know your policies about Jat upliftment.

Any race that fails to plan its future really plans to fail its future.

Any race that does not know its past loses soon its future also.

Any race that does not build its future loses soon its past also.

    thats what Jitu bhai says.

history and aarakshan are the main issues

    tewatiaji or sidhu bhai ji

    1. How will you revive the Jat history of India and the whole World, where point blank you are being made moorkh.

    2. what was and will be your policy towards aarakshan of Jats? we never bother/support/oppose your views during that movement but whether you will always give direction to Jats to fight against the wall or to be somewhat practical?

After the death of Great King Burebista, Dacia split into four or five small states. The situation continued until Diurpaneus managed to consolidate the core of Dacia around Sarmizegetusa, in today's Hunedoara county.

there is one nice post by amit, about Herodotus on Jats. This is original and most important for Jats having some interest in Jats history. Can somebody post it better broadly in bold direct readable manner?
