For No.1: Food Industry (e.g., Nestle, PepsiCola, Dominos etc etc), Govt. Sector (Educational Institutes such as CFTRI, NDRI, State Agricultural Universities etc etc).

For No. 2: A foreign (country specific) educational experience preferred.

Females are preferred for jobs in R&D, QA etc. There are opportunities in GSK, Nestle, Amul, Britannia and many other lesser known but equally good specialty ingredient MNC companies. Associates in NDRI may eventually bag a place in Ph.D with a reasonable scholarship & assistance. PhD from NDRI may not result in out of world prospects but she will have at least a tag and a good infrastructure to learn, this is especially so if she has done her MTech from lesser known institutes of SAUs (State Agriculture Univ). Like all other famous institutes, NDRI in the industry is known for Its B tech program, but PhDs etc are also able to make decent living.
