Bai or Bay or Baya (बाय) is a village in Danta Ramgarh tehsil of Sikar district in Rajasthan. It is 25 km far from Ringas in north-west. As of 2001 its population is 7556 out of them 2228 are SC and 208 ST.[1]

History

Bai village in Rajasthan was founded by Ranwa Jats. Sahajarao was the ancestor of Ranwa gotra who left Nagaur in vikram samvat 1111 and founded village Saamikhera and constructed fort and Shiva temple there. Later on 12 sons of Sahaja founded the villages Jachas, Bhikhanwasi, Khanadi, Karkedi, Maulasar, Makrana, Bai, Buchyasi, Bhurbhura, Jabdinagar, Chausal and Hirani.
