Bhagaur

Bhagaur(भगौर) or Bhagor (भगोर)is gotra of Jats found in Distt Bharatpur, Barmer, and Doongarpur in Rajasthan, and Agra and Mathura in UP. Jarua Katra village in Agra district is their major village. This gotra Jats are also found in Madhya Pradesh. One ruler named Bhage was born in the eleventh generation of Kalihana who gave the name Bhagor to this clan. As per Bard of Karauli state the people of Vagarain (वागरैन) were known as Bhagor.[1]
