Bhikhanwasi (भीखनवासी) Bheekhanwasi village in Sikar tahsil of district Sikar in Rajasthan.

Founder

It was founded by Ranwa Jats. It is situated in the east of Khur. Population is 838.

Jat Gotras

History

Sahajarao was the ancestor of Ranwa gotra who left Nagaur in vikram samvat 1111 and founded village Saamikhera and constructed fort and Shiva temple there. Later on 12 sons of Sahaja founded the villages Jachas, Bhikhanwasi, Khanadi, Karkedi, Maulasar, Makrana, Bai, Buchyasi, Bhurbhura, Jabdinagar, Chausal and Hirani.

Population

As per Census-2011 statistics, Bheekhanwasi village has the total population of 982 (of which 499 are males while 483 are females).[1]
