- Chhapar Mela - Every year Chhapar Mela held in the memory of Gugga Pir in the district of Ludhiana, Punjab in the month of September. This is one of the most popular and spectacular festivals of the Malwa belt of Punjab. Every year a village fair organized for a small gathering of locals to worship snake embodiment of Guga 150 years. This week long fair is organized on Anand Chaudas, the 14th day of the bright half of the Bhadon in honour of Gugga Pir.
