Chulhawali

Chulhawali (चुल्हावली) is a Jat village, mainly of Solanki gotra, in Tundla block of Firozabad district in Uttar Pradesh. It is connected by road with Tundla and situated at a distance of one and half km from railway yard Tundla. It is biggest village of Tundla block with population about 15000.
History
In 15th century the village was habitation of Muslims but later Solanki Jats from Hodal-Banchari Haryana and Pachauri Brahmans defeated and captured the village. Jats had a partnership of 13 annas. It remained under Jats and Brahmans till 1857 but due to rebellion of the villagers in 1857 it was attacked by British in which 313 people of the village became martyrs and majority of them were Jats. British government gave this village in Jagir to Rao Jyoti Prasad of Agra who was their ally. After his death this village was seized by Jat rulers of Jarkhi, Kunwar Shyopal Singh Sikarwar and Balbir Singh Sikarwar.
Demographics
There is equal proportion of Solanki Jats, Brahmans and Jatavs. Other castes are Ahir, Nai, Dhimar, Kumhar, Dhobi, Badhai, Luhar, Sunar, Koli, and Muslims. Being a big village it is divided into many thoks and Muhallas.
