Dhadharia Kalan

Dhadharia Kalan or Dhadhariya Kalan is a Jat village of Manda gotra in Degana tehsil of Nagaur district of Rajasthan situated at a distance of 40 km in south direction from Nagaur. The village is well planned and settled. One can reach here by private bus service from Kuchera, at a diatance of 12 km, connected with Nagaur - Merta bus service.

The village was under Jodhpur rulers. Manda gotra Jats were the first to settle here. Due to this the village is also known as ‘Manda wala Dhadharia’. 95 % people of this village are Manda gotra Jats. The mother of Nathuram Mirdha was a Manda Jat of this village.

Role in abolition of Jagirs

This village has played an important role in struggle against the Rajput rulers for the abolition of Jagirs. The Bhadora Charans of the Samantas did oppression of the villagers. In 1938 the villagers united and stopped giving levy to the Charans. The Jats had beaten the Charans and got them run away. The wife of Hanumanram Manda had played a significant role at that time.
