Dhodhliya (धोधलिया) is a medium-size village in Churu tehsil of Churu district of Rajasthan.

History

Village is said to be founded by Dhayal Gotra Jats and hence the name.

Monuments

There are traces of ancient ruins known as theh in west direction of the village. This shows that originally village was in westward location but ruined due to unknown reasons and shifted to the present location. There is one abandoned ancient village well and a chhatri. Need further research of these monuments.

Population

As per Census-2011 statistics, Dhodhliya village has the total population of 1731 (of which 896 are males while 835 are females).[1]
