Dr. Ram Pratap (Sahu), a Doctor by profession, was elected as MLA from Hanumangarh four times - 1993, 1998, 2008 and 2013). At Present Dr. Ram Pratap is cabinet minister in Rajasthan Government.
He was born on 5 March 1943 at Jorkiyan (जोड़कियां) village in Bhadra tahsil of Hanumangarh district, Rajasthan. His father's name is Ch. Birbal Ram.
Dr. Rampratap got his MBBS degree from Jawaharlal Nehru College, Ajmer (Rajasthan University, Jaipur), in 1972. Apart from being a doctor, he is also a humble agriculturist. Married to Smt. Tara Devi, he has 2 sons.
