Farswal or Pharsawal (फर्सवाल) gotras Jats are located in Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Haryana. They were stones crushers during Mugal dynasty. As there are many stone mines near Delhi so they were mainly attached in this profession. Their villages of origin were in Delhi (Pahari Dheeraj and AdChini) and then moved to Uttar Pradesh and Haryana in search of better prospects. Sultanpur in Uttar Pradesh and Kosli in Haryana are their known villages.
