Ghassu is a village in tehsil Laxmangarh of Sikar district in Rajasthan. It is situated at a distance of 23 km from Sikar in the north direction on Agra-Bikaner national highway-11. The village was founded by Ghisaram Jat of Bhakar gotra in 1362 who came from village Bhagasar. This is a well-connected village. The village was declared fully literate in 1998.

The population of the village is about 1700. There are 130 families residing in the village out of them 100 families are of Jats. All the Jats in the village are of gotra Bhakar. Some Jats also write Bhaskar.
Notable persons from the village
- Chaudhari Dilsukh Rai, ex MLA of Fatehpur, is from this village. His father was Rooparam Bhakar who took part in freedom movement.
