Ghatiala

Ghatiala (घटियाला) Ghantiala (घंटियाला) Ghatiyala (घटियाला) Ghatala (घटाला) Ghintal (घिन्टाल) is gotra of Jats. These people came from Marwar with their cattle. The cattle were with hanging bells(घंटी) in their neck so they were called Ghantiala (घंटियाला). Ghatala gotra was also known after village Ghatiala which is 20 km north of Jodhpur.^[1]

Distribution

They are inhabitants of Ramanagar village in Mathura istrict in (Uttar Pradesh).
