Goyat (गोयत) Gohel(गोहेल) is gotra of Jats found in Distt Jind, Hisar, Rohtak, Karnal in Haryana. In some places they use the title 'Chopra'. Found in Maharashtra, where they are known as Gohel.Jat people of Goyat gotra started calling themselve Budhrain in name of Chaudhary of who led them village Kalsora and 6 more villages distt. Karnal Yamuna river region of Haryana in the period of 16 th or 17th century. Goyat is one village as well in Madhya Pradesh
