Guladi, Gulahri, Gulhari, Gulhadi, Gulahdi is a village in Moonak tahsil of Sangrur district in Punjab.

Location

It is Located on the border of Punjab and Haryana barely 0.5 Km inside the territory ofPunjab. View on Google map

The Eastern side of the village is surrounded by Dhabi Tek Singh (Haryana), the western side by Bhulan, the Northern side by Karoda and Thaska, and the Southern side by Rasidan (Haryana).

Origin

History

The village is dominated by Hindu people who speak Haryanvi language. The village originated from the neighbouring village, Dhamtan Sahib. According to the elders of this village, two persons named Nichal and Rajakan shifted from Dhamtan Sahib to settle this village. The successors of these two persons have risen to growth of Nain clan in the village. However, earlier history of people like Chahals and others of the village is not known.

The village has the largest number of Nain gotra Jats -- followed by Chauhans, Chahals and a few more.
