Jachas (जाचास) ia a medium-size village in Sikar tehsil of Sikar district in Rajasthan.

Population

As per Census-2011 statistics, Jachas village has the total population of 1920 (of which 986 are males while 934 are females).[1]

History

It was founded by Ranwa Jats. Sahajarao was the ancestor of Ranwa gotra who left Nagaur in vikram samvat 1111 and founded village Saamikhera and constructed fort and Shiva temple there. Later on, 12 sons of Sahaja founded the villages Jachas, Bhikhanwasi, Khanadi, Karkedi, Maulasar, Makrana, Bai, Buchyasi, Bhurbhura, Jabdinagar, Chausal and Hirani.
