Jandi (जंडी) Jandia (जंडिया) is a Muslim Jat clan in Pakistan. Jandi/Jand clan is found in Afghanistan.[1] Jandi (जांदी) is also a Kamboh clan found in Amritsar. [2] Jandia (जंडिया) Jat clan found in in tahsil Hansi, Haryana.

History

H.A. Rose[3] writes that The Awans in Kapurthala are said to have the Jand got.

H.A. Rose[4] writes that the Customary Law of Sialkot District (Voliune XIV) p, 3, gives the Jand in the list of Awan sub-clans.

According to H.A. Rose[5] writes that the Bagri Jats have certain sections which might appear totemistic, but very rarely is any reverence paid to the totem. Such are :— Jandia, jand tree, in tahsil Hansi, Hisar, Haryana.
