Kaloo

Kaloo or Kalu is a village in Lunkaransar tehsil of Bikaner district in Rajasthan, India. It is situated on the north-east border of the district adjoining Churu district boundaries. It is 19 km south-west of Lunkaransar on road connecting Lunkaransar with Bikaner-Ratangarh road. As of 2001 its population was 8927 out of them 1171 were SC and 11 were ST.

History
It was one of the districts in the republic of Godara Jats in Jangladesh, whose chief was Pandu having 700 villages in his state with capital at Shekhsar. The districts included in his state were Shekhsar, Pundrasar, Gusainsar Bada, Gharsisar, Garibdesar, Rungaysar, Kalu. [1]
