Kharb or Kharav (खर्ब/ खरब/खरव) gotra Jats are found in Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh. This gotra is also found in Haryana and Delhi. They are mentioned in the Allahabad Pillar Inscription as Kharaparikas. The Padma Purana calls them as Malecchas, which shows that they are treated as foreigners. [1] [2]
