Lal Chand Kajla

Dr Lal Chand Kajla is a famous doctor and grand father (nana) of Pamella Bordes. He was a successful physician and the first jat MBBS. First he tried his hands at private practice in Kosli, near Rewari and later joined Army during pre-independence era. He belonged to village Soldha near Bahadurgarh (Haryana) and was running his clinic at Kirby Place, Delhi Cant after his retirement from Army. He had only one son who too died in a bizarre accident after passing out from IMA. It so happened that he was coming home after IMA passing out parade. His parents were also with him as they had gone to participate in the passing out ceremony. The son was talking to his friends at the railway station and when the train started moving he ran to board it and lost his balance and got crushed between the moving train and platform. The shock was too much for her wife and she lost her eyesight. The doctor had another widowed daughter who too was a blind.
