Lokesh Balhara
Lokesh Balhara - President’s Award Recipient.
The president honored Lokesh Balhara, with the Best Innovation award. Balhara contracted polio when he was just two-and-a-half years old. Balhara's desire to lead a normal and independent life prompted him to modify a car to suit his needs.

"I have got this award for innovation. I have done such modifications in a car that all the physically challenged people can lead a normal life. The best part about this car is that it is very cost effective and all the controls are operated by hands including brakes. Anyone in a wheelchair can get in the car with no help and drive it using his or her hands. With this car, any physically challenged person can easily do their daily chores. This is the car's specialty and because of that I am getting this award."
