Nidana (निदाना/निदाणा) is a village in Tehsil Jind, district Jind in Haryana.

History

Village is Kheda to Malik gaut of Jats established in 1600 A.D., it traces their roots back to Mokhra village of Rohtak district.
Gathwala Khap is the prime Khap of the village.

  • Population of the village is more than 4000.

Notable persons

1) Swami Ratandev Malik, the greatest ever saint of village, who established the Arya Kanya Gurukul at Kharal village of Narwana Tehsil of Jind district. In last years of his life thou returned back to your home village with a motivation of establishing a kanya gurukul in village but alas! before Swami ji could see his dream coming true, thou left the village in deep grievance of sorrow.
2) Dada Jagar Singh Malik, the biggest ever donator of village. You donated 6 acre land in 1935 for establishing government high school in village.
3) Dada Santa Singh Numberdar, the patriotic freedom fighter from village. Dada ji served in INA of Neta Ji Subhash Chander Bose.
4) Dada Prhalad Singh Malik, the person who single-handedly turned back the direction of army of 100 horse-ridden dacoits, who attacked the village in midnight.
5) Dada Rampal Shashtri Ji: The great personality who worked with great hutatma Bhagat Phool Singh Malik. Shashtri ji was the prime person behind establishing in 1935 and he brought to support from Bhagat Ji, Sonipat and Meerut region. He also worked under Bhagat Ji's guidance to spread the messages of Arya Samaaj and Humanity.
