Peeragarhi (पीरागढ़ी) is a well-known village of North-West Delhi
Location
It is situated on NH-10 (Delhi-Rohtak Road), just before Nangloi village. The posh Pashchim Vihar colony has surrounded it on two sides. The village is now fully urbanised and is also connected by Delhi Metro Rail system.
Gotras
It is a Shokeen gotra village, though now some others have also settled down here, due to rapid urbanisation.
Notable persons
Ch. Shraddhanand Sheokhanda of Piragarhi near Nangloi (Delhi), an ex Edn. Officer, was the person who first of all wrote his gotra as 'Shokeen' in place of Sheokhande.[1]
