Prof. Raj Pal Dahiya

Prof.Raj Pal Dahiya (प्रो. राजपाल दहिया) is a resident of Haryana state in India. Presently, he is Director, Malviya National Institute Of Technology, Jaipur, Rajasthan and also holds the position of Professor at Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi.

He has been Vice Chancellor of CDL University, Sirsa; President, Plasma Science Society of India; Chairman G.A.T.E., IIT Delhi; Chairman/Member various International, National and Institute Bodies/Committees; National Co-ordinator of Ministry of Non-conventional Energy Sources, Govt. of India sponsored National Renewable Energy Fellowships; and member of several other committees. He has also worked in the Ministry of Non-conventional Energy Sources, now the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, Govt. of India. On International level he has wide experience of working in Germany, Netherlands, USA, Japan, and visited several countries such as France, U.K., China, Brazil etc. In Netherlands (where he has been more than 12 times), Germany (twice) and Japan he has made significant contribution to the establishment of prestigious International experimental facilities for industrial applications of plasma. He has received funding worth several crores of rupees for his sponsored and consultancy projects from the International sponsors, National funding agencies and some prominent industries.
