Rawatsar (रावतसर) is a town in Hanumangarh district in Rajasthan. Its latitude is 29.28 longitude 74.38. History
It was one of districts of the republic of Sihag gotra Jats in Jangladesh, whose chief was Chokha, who had 150 villages under him. Suin was their capital and districts were Rawatsar, Biramsar, Dandusar, Gandaisi.
Demographics
As of 2001 India Rawatsar had a population of 28,383. Males constitute 53% of the population and females 47%. Rawatsar has an average literacy rate of 55%, lower than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 65%, and female literacy is 44%. In Rawatsar, 17% of the population is under 6 years of age.
